Sausage Casserole
Cinnamon Pears
Serves: 2

Ingredients
2 firm, ripe Budgens British pears, cored and quartered
150ml / 6fl oz red grape juice
1/2 teaspoon Budgens ground cinnamon
2 cloves
1 teaspoon Budgens honey
Method

1. Mix together the red grape juice, cinnamon, cloves and honey in a small pan and add the pears.
2. Poach the pears over a gentle heat for about 20 minutes, turning once or twice.
3. Serve the poached pears with a little half fat crème fraiche or Greek yogurt.
