Mojito

The classic summer holiday cocktail

Ingredients
3 sprigs of fresh mint
2tsp brown sugar
Juice of 1 lime
Slice of lime
25ml Bacardi (or white rum)
Soda water or lemonade
Crushed ice

Method
Crush 2 mint sprigs. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Add the run and shake.

Serve in a tall glass over crushed ice and top off with chilled soda or lemonade. Garnish with a slide of lime and the remaining mint.

To vary
For a variation, top up with Appletise instead of lemonade for an Apple Mojito.

Cocktail tip
Always use freshly squeezed juice in cocktails – it tastes so much better.
