Budgens winners at Convenience Retail Awards
Budgens retail partners and the Budgens brand triumphed again at this year's Convenience Retail Awards held last night at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London:
- Knight's Budgens, Hassocks was crowned Convenience Retailer of the Year 2012, having already won the category for Best Large Store
- Warner's Budgens, Broadway was crowned Best Independent Store
- Budgens won the Best Business Wholesale Initiative for its Tesco Price Match campaign
- Symond's Budgens, Wells won both Best Milk Retailer and the Sustainable Retailing Award
As well as the wins, judges also highly commended the following:
- Symonds Budgens, Wells in the category for Best Independent Store
- Warner's Budgens, Moreton in Marsh in the category for Best Large Store
